Ginger powder or ginger water is great for gas, indigestion and energy too.

GINGER – GREAT FOR GAS AND INDIGESTION

Ginger is a spice that can be used for so many things, inflammation is one of the major things it can be used for. For this blog I’d like to talk about Ginger for gas.


We all have gas, so it’s a natural thing, but it can be a problem when you are in situations where you can't relieve the gas or pass the gas. I think I mentioned this on one of my other blogs, the worst is at work. Am I right? Are you shaking your head yup???


So many times, I have eaten something for dinner that was so good, but I forgot the gassy effect it was going to have on me the next day, which of course was a work day. There have been times when I go to the bathroom to relieve the gas and there is all these people in the bathroom, so I can’t let go of the gas like I want to and/or can’t let the gas out for some reason, IDK. And the worst thing is going back to your office, cubicle or desk and on the way back you feel more gas trying to come out. SMH.


For me this is where Ginger comes in. I learned that when I’m feeling gassy before I leave home, I need to take some ginger and water. I carry my Ginger powder with me in my lunch bag, so I always have it with me at work.


I’m telling you it has saved me from embarrassing myself. You know, those times, when it almost comes out but somehow you stop it. You clench those butt cheeks together and hold it in. Some of us are successful at doing this and some are not. Okay, twice I was not.


The first week at my job I was holding this gas and I bent over and it came out, fortunately I was in a cubicle, but it wasn’t real stinky. So, I found something to fan the funk as best as I could and then I left. I thought someone would say something the next day, but they didn’t. That’s when I realized I need something to deal with the gas at work and Ginger Powder it that something. It really worked for me.


I was taking a half of a teaspoon to 8 ounces of water. But experiment and see what works for you. You can find ginger powder in your supermarket and sometimes even in the Dollar store. Of course, you can also order online at any health store.

You can use ginger powder to make a tea or you can use fresh ginger also. Yummy!
