BONE BROTH: YUMMY FOR YOUR TUMMY
Updated: Nov 27, 2018
One of my very favorite things is Bone Broth. My experience with Bone Broth started in 2016. Having stomach issues, I wanted to drink something to soothe it. I wasn’t in pain, just that yucky feeling you sometimes get in your stomach. I was drinking soup and that did help but there was a deeper richness and savory goodness of Bone Broth.
You can make your own. I even went to Whole Foods grocery store to buy bones to make the broth. I went twice and both times they were out of bones. In between those 2 times I was searching where I could just buy the broth already made. During my search, one day watching TV, on a news segment, they were talking about a Bone Broth restaurant opening. I got excited because I thought it was going to be a local place but nope, it was in New York City.
So back to the internet to look for how to buy already made Bone Broth. The Bone Broth I did find cost around $15.00 for 32 oz’s. I felt that was just too much for my budget and a bit much for Bone Broth. I mean it’s broth. So, I didn’t get it.
I did find another brand for like, $5.25 and I was going to try that one until I went into, wait for it, WALMART.
Yes, Walmart had Bone Broth and it was only $2.14. You talking about a happy camper, I was ecstatic. The very thing I was looking for was right in my local Walmart and for dirt cheap. Okay, so I get home, hoping the whole time that this Bone Broth will taste good. And yup it did!!! I was pleasantly and happily surprised.
Some benefits of Bone Broth are:
Brittle hair and nails
Colds and Flu
Irritable bowel syndrome
And so much more
One of my very favorite ways to drink Bone Broth is to warm it up with some crushed garlic (I love garlic) in it. It’s so delicious and double the health benefits because now you have the garlic benefits too.
If you want to try Bone Broth on the cheap go to Walmart. Or where ever you want to go to get your Bone Broth. Just try it. I know you will enjoy a cup of its savory goodness, that’s good for you.
Let me know.
