CAN’T SLEEP, THIS WAKING UP DURING THE NIGHT THING, WISH SOMEONE WOULD HAVE TOLD ME.....

CAN’T SLEEP, THIS WAKING UP DURING THE NIGHT THING, AND SLEEPING PILLS.

Yes, I wish someone would have told me “you will not be sleeping through the night anymore”. I truly want the ones in their 30’s and 40’s to really get this point. Constantly waking up during the night, laying there wide-awake hoping to fall back to sleep is something that most women go through.

As women, we have so much on our plate. You know, we try to do it all. Not because we want to, but we have to. Some of us are doing it alone, without a mate, husband. Life can really get hard.

So, sleep is really important. I know lack of sleep is the worst. The tiredness during the day, dragging yourself, trying to get it all done so you can just get in your pj’s and get in bed. You sleep only to wake up at 2:18, thinking, “I have to get up in 4 hours, I gotta get back to sleep.”

SLEEPING PILLS

Sleeping pills work, yeah, they work too well. When it’s time to get up you usually still feel groggy in the morning (which I hate), and you feel the effects of the sleeping pill the whole day.

You may get some energy (from your coffee) but then around 2:00 or 3:00 in the afternoon, you are now fighting sleep and I mean fighting hard not to just put your head down on your desk and take a long sweet nap.

Even though I don’t like taking sleeping pills I still do. It’s at this point that I’m desperate to just get some rest. I take them around an hour before going to bed. What I do I break or bite them in half and put the other half back in the bottle or package.

Please make sure to put them where children can’t get to them. If I take just half a pill I’m able to get to sleep and most time stay asleep and most importantly wake up not feeling tired. Make sure you get the sleeping pills that say, “Wake up refreshed”.

TIMING and SLEEPING PILLS

Now all of this depends on your timing. I take them with enough time to get the hours of sleep I need. The one I used has Diphenhydramine HCI 25 mg. It says “Non-habit forming” on the box. I have used the 10 mg also.

I hope this helps you guys. Trying to function on little or no sleep is horrible. Also, I try not to take sleeping pills every night. The last thing I need is to get addicted to sleeping pills and I don’t want that to happen to you either.

Hey, you can also try some of the other natural ways that I mentioned in my earlier post. Let me know what has helped you get some sleep I truly would appreciate it.

Please, please use precaution when using sleep aids in pill and capsule form!
